When an item displays an “Unrestored” designation or price, that means it is being offered in the same condition as when we purchased it. It will show signs of previous use and wear. No restoration has been performed by our shop.
When an item displays a “Restored” designation or price, that means our shop has performed a thorough cleaning with mild detergent safe to use on wood. Any structural repair (if necessary) including re-glueing of joinery, stabilization of veneer and or replacement of missing components. Restoration also includes re-finishing of the wood surfaces with appropriate oils, lacquers, waxes, etc. Light cleaning of metal components (if necessary) and re-painting of parts that were originally painted. Restoration does not include any upholstery work other than conditioning of original leather surfaces.
