Teak Danish secretary desk by Erling Torvits, circa 1960s. Striking book matched veneer with beautiful grain patterning. Locking drop-front writing surface opens to a thoughtfully fitted interior with open cubby, sliding doors and sleek drawers with bowtie handles and black accents. Right bank of drawers has graduating depths and continuous graining on the fronts. Smooth gliding lower chest of drawers with seamless, integrated lipped handles. And finally, a concealed top row of secret drawers which can only be unlocked from inside the open storage compartment. Robust sleek tapered legs, quality through and through!

Unrestored item with the option to purchase in restored condition. Restoration includes: repairs, sanding, staining, and an oil finish.
