Mid-Century Modern Cedar Lined Walnut Chest by Lane Chests - (D1649)
$695.00
Mid-century walnut sweetheart chest by Lane Chests, manufactured by Knechtel Furniture in 1970. Warm walnut grain, a vertically grooved centre panel and a recessed plinth base give this vintage storage chest a simple, distinctive profile.
The lift-up lid opens to a spacious cedar-lined interior for blankets, linens and keepsakes. It can also be used as a bench, offering both seating and storage in a bedroom or hallway.
Includes the key and original “Guaranty Against Moth Damage” document—a lovely piece of its history.
Chest is being sold in good original condition.
